Wylie Gustafson of the famed Wylie and the Wild West is the real deal!

He is the recipient of the 2005 AWA Best Western Group of the year award and

the AWA Yodeler of the Year for 2005 & 2006.

He and his band have appeared on world class stages including: the Grand Ole' Opry (over 30 times!), A Prairie Home Companion,  the Kennedy Center in New York City and Merlefest among many, many others.

If you like REAL country in the spirit of Jimmy Rodgers, Marty Robbins, Hank Williams and good ol' Roy Rogers then you'll love Wylie!  His original songs and cover interpretations are the REAL DEAL!

When Wylie wails his lonesome cowboy blues, he knows of what he sings as Wylie is a professional cowboy on the side riding

in rodeos and raising  top of the line Quarter Horses on his ranch in Washington State.

Finally, even if you haven't heard of this yodelin' dude and his fantastic band, you've certainly heard him:  Unless you just crawled out from under a rock, you've heard the famous "Yahoooooooo" yodel at the end of the

Yahoo.com commercials.

I built a custom dimensioned 14 fret 00 Style 6 string for him in 2000. That guitar has been with him on many of the worlds finest stages.  I'm proud to call Wylie a Marlee customer.

Here's what Wylie had to say about his Marlee Guitar:  "

" It is a world class instrument that sounds great!  Mike's attention to detail and impeccable workmanship make my guitar a one of a kind that I am truly proud of!"

Too Slim and the Taildraggers have been rockin’ the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years.  Their down and dirty, growlin’  roadhouse blues are a genuine rock and roll treasure!

Tim “Too Slim” Langford and his talented Taildraggers are amongst the lineage of talented artists cultivated from the world famous northwest music scene. This award winning band has been voted the Best Regional act, 10 times by the Cascade Blues Association, the largest organization of it's kind in the USA.

They have multiple awards from various NW Reader's Polls and other NW Blues Societies for Best Band and Best Album. Founding member Tim ''Too Slim" Langford has won multiple individual awards as Best Guitarists, Best Slide Guitarist, and Best Songwriter. Too Slim and the Taildraggers are in the Hall of Fame in three NW Blues Societies.

Their devoted fan base has grown over the years into a National and International following. Experiencing a Too Slim and the Taildragger concert is like taking a journey through the history of American music. Too Slim's music style ranges from down home blues , funky blues rock, americana, southern swamp rock, and instrumental guitar styles.

In 2004, Tim’s organization commissioned this custom 14 fret biscuit bridge resonator with on board electronics.  It’s back and sides are Makore (African Cherry), one of the alternative, sustainable, tone woods that really give the traditional woods a run for their money.

If you’ve never had the pleasure of catching this spitfire group live, what in the world are you waiting for???  Check out his schedule and boogie on down the next time they’re in town!

Here’s what Tim “Too Slim” Langford had to say about his Marlee:

“I just absolutely love that guitar!  It sounds so beautiful!  I’m just as happy as I can possibly be with it.  I appreciate the effort and love you put into it!”
